Help Rita Support Cristofer's Cancer Fight

Hello everyone, my name is Rita. I am here with the expressed hope of raising some funds in our time of dire financial straits. In February of this year, my son Cristofer, 6 years old, was diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma, a form of cancer with bilateral renal tumors and oropharyngeal mass.

Since that time, I have been unable to work due to the fact that I have to be present with him in the hospital for several weeks out of the month. I have a very small family circle, which means I have to care for him at home also. It is estimated that treatment will continue in this manner for approximately a year from the beginning of his diagnosis.

In addition to the inexplicable mental and emotional anguish of his diagnosis, I am finding it impossible to satisfy my monthly financial obligations. Included in those obligations are rent, food, transportation, and other miscellaneous costs associated with his overall care. For now, insurance handles Cristofer’s medical bills, so donations will be for helping me to get back to a place of securing my basic needs.
