Our amazing Aunt Rita needs us now more than ever.
Many of you know Rita as a true angel in our community. For years, she has dedicated her life to working with adults with intellectual disabilities—helping them find purpose, joy, and connection by volunteering with local non-profit organizations. She doesn’t just support them… she empowers them to give back and feel valued.
Rita is the kind of person who is always there for everyone else. She’s the “Auntie” to so many—kind, selfless, and full of love.
This morning, Rita suffered a serious fall and broke her knee. Doctors have confirmed she will need surgery, followed by at least six weeks out of work—possibly longer. During this time, she won’t be able to do the work she loves or earn an income.
Now it’s our turn to be there for her.
If Rita has ever touched your life—or if you simply feel moved by her story—please consider donating. Any amount, no matter how small, will help support her through surgery, recovery, and this difficult time.
Let’s come together and show Rita the same love and compassion she has given to so many others. ❤️
