Rita Bear Gray has dedicated over 30 years of her life to serving others through ministry, especially supporting the first nations community. Her compassion and selflessness have touched countless lives, and she has always given of herself, even when resources were scarce. Rita’s commitment to helping others has meant living very sacrificially, and she continues to inspire those around her with her unwavering faith and generosity.


Recently, while Rita was in Israel, her home suffered a devastating flood. The damage was extensive, leading to black mold and a backed-up septic system. These issues have made her home unsafe, and the repairs needed are far beyond what she can manage on her limited income. Rita now hopes to sell her home and move to a safer place, but before she can do that, the house needs significant indoor and outdoor work and repairs.


On top of these challenges, Rita has also faced serious health setbacks in the last two years. She has undergone multiple surgeries and was hit by a drunk driver in 2024, resulting in extensive medical bills that are piling up. The financial and emotional toll of these hardships has been overwhelming.
