Help Rit Meas Bounce Back

This GFM is to raise funds to help brother Rit Meas. Rit is experiencing some hard times right now and is at risk of being outdoors. He lost his vehicle in an accident recently and does not have a roof.

I became aware of this issue through FaceBook postings and a message from brother Chris Becker. Chris took the initiative to take some action to help and got this idea started. Full disclosure I have not spoken with Rit in over 30 years. I do not know the details of his life and his journey here. I don’t know if we can change things for him or not, but I want to try. I do know I stood up one night along time ago and took an oath to support my brothers and closest friends. And time does not change that.

Here is the idea. We pool funds and help him purchase a minivan to replace his lost rig. Rit will be the registered owner. Chris has generously offered to make this happen by shopping for vehicles and going with Rit to the DMV to complete the transactions. Any remaining funds would go to purchasing supplies to stock him up with chow and fill the tank. The intent is to help him get on his feet. This is a gift. No strings attached. Where life goes after that is up to Rit. Please contribute what you can.

I have lost track of many of the brothers over the years. I am contacting those I have addresses for. Please pass this along as I expect many you have more contacts. I hope you all are doing well. BTW I would love to hear from you.
