Help Risteen's family in their time of need

I regret to inform you that we have lost a dear friend. Risteen Gates passed away on 4/12/24 after a sudden and brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife Melanie and daughter Jahzara. As one of our friends said “so many good stories we shared started with Ris”. Risteen was a reserved, artistic and caring man who burst at the seams with pride when talking about his wife and daughter.

We are seeking financial help for the medical bills, mortgage and ongoing monthly living expenses for Risteen’s family and for Jazzie’s furthering education. Risteen was the primary bread winner. His daughter will be a freshman attending an Honor’s high school in Chicago next year and his wife has a very long commute to get to the part time job she has.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Please pass this info along to anyone else who you can think of who may also wish to help Risteen’s family.
