Riselva School was created from the desire to offer children a place where they can develop with respect, independence, and a close everyday connection with nature. It is a non-profit educational project promoted by Riselva Educativa, combining Montessori-inspired learning, outdoor education, and a bilingual approach.

We started this September with a small 3–6 group at our family winery, where we have dedicated two classrooms and an art atelier to the children. Their days include practical and creative activities, early learning, free play, gardening, and regular time exploring the vineyards, woodland, and surrounding nature.

We began with four children and the group has already grown to six, with more families expected to join in the coming months. We are also seeing growing interest from both local and international families, including families considering moving to the area for the school.

This is only the beginning. From next year, we hope to expand Riselva to include elementary education, which means welcoming more children and teachers and creating spaces for different age groups. We have found a beautiful country house that we plan to rent and gradually prepare as the new home of Riselva School.

We are investing our own funds in the project, and our aim is for tuition fees to cover the school’s ongoing running costs. This fundraiser is specifically to help us through the initial development phase: preparing the new spaces, purchasing educational materials, tools for creative and practical activities, outdoor equipment, and everything needed to create a thoughtful and welcoming learning environment.

Our goal is simple and concrete. For a small project like ours, it can make a real difference and help us take the next important steps.

Every contribution, however small, helps us build Riselva little by little. Thank you to everyone who chooses to support the project and be part of its first steps.
