Help RISE Pole Fitness Get a New Studio!

Hello all! My name is Jacqueline and I am helping to raise money towards a deposit for RISE Pole Fitness's new studio! All of the money raised in this GoFundMe will go directly towards a deposit of the first and last month's rent on a new location.

The What:

RISE is a wonderful, locally owned pole fitness studio in the Sacramento region, operated by a small group of fantastic women. Previously, RISE was operating by subleasing studio space from another fitness studio, KidzGym. The owner of KidzGym does not own the studio space, but rented it from the business park. It has recently come to light that the owner of KidzGym was scamming RISE, stealing their portion of rent money to keep for himself. He has not paid rent on the space for at least the past five months, and as a result, KidzGym (and by extension, RISE) is being evicted immediately.

This means RISE must get a new space to conduct classes and will be losing revenue until a new location can be secured. After connecting with the studio owners, it seems the most pressing need is money towards a deposit on a new location.

The Why:

Speaking for myself and the RISE community, RISE has become a fixture in so many of our lives, a place where we've built strength, confidence, and lasting relationships. RISE reflects a diverse community where folks of all walks of life and all different body types can feel represented and supported.

We will not let one scammy business partner put an end to this wonderful community!
