Located in Compton, California, RISE Academy is a 21st Century Learning Center that creates innovative educational opportunities and resources for families with children. These opportunities are designed to empower students to reach their fullest potential and to achieve their highest goals while being challenged to accept responsibility for their overall education and development of necessary life skills. 

In order to help students meet the demands of an ever-changing, increasingly complex world, RISE focuses on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) principles to equip students with the skills needed to help solve the unique problems of tomorrow. 

The success of students who attend RISE requires a committed team of learning partners; led by Teresa Bowles, this team is grounded by support and guidance from professional, dedicated teachers and staff who partner with families, community, and business leaders to create a learning team with excellence. 

Donations for RISE Academy will go towards desperately-needed property maintenance, purchasing supplies for students, and the Summer STEAM program.
