HELP RIPLEY GET KNEE SURGERY

Meet Ripley.
She is a 2-year-old pit mix that we rescued from the shelter. From the moment we got her she has been the light in our life. Anyone who meets Ripley instantly falls in love with her loving personality and silly shenanigans. She finds a friend in everyone and just wants some love. When we first rescued Ripley we had very little information about her. We quickly learned that she has food and skin sensitivity that enables her to eat/use a lot of common dog products. Though there were a lot of stomachs and vet visits, Ripley never lost any of her goofy self.
One day, roughly after a year, we noticed her limping on her back right leg. After a few days of it getting worse, we took her in to get it checked out. We learned she has a genetic condition called a Luxating Patella, that causes her kneecap to move out of place. Seeing our sweet girl no longer able to be her playful self, we scheduled surgery to get her help. The next 6 months were hard on Ripley. She was unable to walk or play, just lay on the couch. It took several vet appointments to find a medicine that would sit okay with Ripley's stomach, as many made her sick. After weeks, recovery began going smoothly and we were nearly to the end. About 4 months after the surgery, Ripley's knee cap popped out of place.

A couple of weeks later, Ripley was back in surgery getting the groove in her knee deepened and two pins added to ensure proper healing. The recovery process started again, leaving Ripley unable to play or run for another 6 months.

Just when we thought we had made it in the clear, a pin in Ripley's knee moved out of place (there is a 1% chance of this happening), causing a lot of discomfort. To fix this, the surgeon will have to operate a third time on her knee to trim those pins. While further examining her, we learned that from compensating her weight on her other leg from the two previous surgeries, her other knee was now a grade 3 injury and needed to be operated on as soon as possible.

Now looking at surgery numbers 3 and 4, we are heartbroken to not be able to get her the help she needs. We are reaching out for help with the hope that we can get our furbaby the surgery she needs to get back to her playful, loving self. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
