Hey everyone, this is gonna be a hard story to tell, so bear with me as I get through it. Most of you know that I lost my number one companion, baby Kaos, 7 months ago, after he didn't recover from bladder stone surgery. It was a devastating loss for me. Not only did he take a little piece of my heart, but he took a little piece of my soul with him. I was completely at a loss and felt a little broken. My other guy, Macho, is independent and doesn't feel the need to be my shadow or to even cuddle a little bit. I struggled for 7 months on whether to get another pup or not. I said I would never get another puppy, but I definitely ate those words. Most of you saw my post when I took my adventure ride and went and picked up my puppy, Riot. I gotta tell you, he came into my life and flipped everything upside down and started to mend my little broken parts. I know it sounds silly; it's just a dog to some people, but to me, he made a major difference.

I took the little guy to his first vet appointment on the third. Everything seemed to go well at first until the doctor broke out the stethoscope. His face dropped, which made me know something bad was coming. He was diagnosed with a heart murmur, which goes by a scale of 1 to 6, with 6 being the worst. Well, my little guy was a 6 plus, so the only shot he got that day was his rabies shot. I was told to immediately get an echocardiogram. By that Friday, we made it to Leesburg to CVCA, where he had his echo done. My worst fears were spoken out loud to me. My sweet little baby has heart major issues, not little issues, major issues, and I was told he would need surgery or he wouldn't survive.

Again, I was totally devastated. This sweet boy shows no signs of being broken at all. He's a rambunctious, happy little wiggle butt and has brought so much to my life already. So most of you know how I feel about my fur babies. So I'm going forward to try to fix his broken parts like he fixed mine. He is going to be scheduled for heart surgery on the 30th of this month in Maryland at the CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets. I'm doing this GoFundMe because I'm still paying off the last surgeries and two major emergency vet visits when everything happened with Kaos. I know during this time it's hard for everybody, and if you can help, that's absolutely great. If you can't, I understand as well. I generally don't ask for anything, but at this time, I'm gonna ask for kindness, prayers, and any help I can get to help my little guy get through this major surgery. For those of you who read it to the end, thank you for being there for me and understanding. Again, anything anybody can do will be greatly appreciated. With that being said, hugs to all of you and thank you for reading all the way through my post.
