Help Ringo Get Life-Saving Surgery
Donation protected
Ringo is my 9-year-old, 5-pound Chihuahua, and he’s been my constant companion since 2010. I found him in Illinois when I was an over-the-road truck driver, and he’s traveled all over the country with me, always curled up in my lap as we drove. Ringo is a bundle of joy, a little clown who fills my days with laughter and love. He’s always by my side, and if I ever have to leave him at home, he gets so anxious and tries every trick to come along. At night, he insists on bedtime routines, making sure I don’t stay up too late by giving me his signature “it’s time for bed” look until I finally follow him. He’s truly my family and my heart.
On April 2, Ringo was attacked by a much larger dog, weighing nearly ten times as much as him. The attack left his front right leg completely broken, with both bones pushed out of place, and he suffered other serious injuries, including damage to his mouth and lungs. He spent a week in critical condition at the vet, and since then, I’ve been taking him back every 8 to 10 days for splint changes, hoping his leg would heal. Despite his bravery and determination, the treatments haven’t worked, and now the only option left is to amputate his leg. Lately, he’s been in more pain, less active, and the broken leg is making it harder for him to get around. It breaks my heart to see him suffer, and I just want to help him be pain-free again.
I’m raising funds to cover the cost of Ringo’s surgery, which is urgently needed to relieve his pain and give him the best chance at recovery. If there’s enough support, I also hope to cover some of his aftercare and medications, but my main goal is to get him the surgery he needs as soon as possible. Ringo means the world to me, and I want nothing more than to see him happy, healthy, and back to his loving, playful self. Any help you can give will make a huge difference for both of us.
UPDATE!!!!!
I want to tell everyone who has donated for Ringo‘s cause for life saving surgery, thank you very much and to give an update. I’m still fundraising like crazy for him posting it on every page that I possibly can on Facebook but we still have a long way to go. There is so many GoFundMe fundraisers going on everywhere. I know it’s overwhelming for people with so many fundraisers asking for help. I know it’s hard for people to pick a fundraiser to help because there’s so many. But I do greatly appreciate y’all that have donated. We couldn’t have gotten this far without your donations. Although it still isn’t enough to get him back to the vet to get his life saving surgery done but we’re making progress. If everyone could share it, it could help a lot and I would be forever grateful and it would get us closer to having his surgery that he has to have. I am so scared of the possibilities of complications that could affect him if he doesn’t get the surgery he has to have soon. This little boy is my whole heart and I love him so much. I don’t want to lose him. I would walk through hell to save him. Please donate if you can and if you can’, if you could just please share this so it gets to more people. Thank you very much..
