Since this horrific conflict began, I have been in touch with my friend Rima Adel, her husband Hussen Jamal, and their four beautiful children — Lana, Jamal, Mohamed, and Zaina — who are struggling to survive in Gaza.

Like any mother, Rima would do anything to keep her children safe. But under relentless b*mbing, suffocating blockades, and constant evacuation orders, she is exhausted, powerless, and terrified.
