Help Riley Explore the Universe at Apache Point Observatory!

As many of you know, Riley is pursuing her passion for the stars and the mysteries of the universe. She is working toward earning a BS in Physics with a minor in Astronomy, and her ultimate goal is to obtain a Masters and PhD in Astrophysics. She’s well on her way, and next semester, she has a unique opportunity to take her studies to the next level.

Riley’s astronomy class at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) has been invited to the Apache Point Observatory (APO) in New Mexico. This is an incredible chance for her to gather real space data, use professional-grade telescopes, and collaborate with experts in the field of astronomy and astrophysics. APO often works with universities remotely, and this visit will give Riley the hands-on experience that is crucial for her academic and professional future.
