Hi everyone :) I am starting this fundraiser to hopefully gain some help for The Etienne’s who have recently discovered that their dog Riley has multiple cancerous tumors and has had to have them all quickly removed. She will likely need to begin chemotherapy as well.

Below is a note of their experience and we will update it as soon as we know more about Riley’s condition:

On Monday, 11/18, Riley went to the vet for what was initially thought was a simple tooth issue. Our hearts sank when the vet discovered four mast tumors and recommended that Riley see a specialist due to the location of one of the tumors.

On Tuesday, 11/26, Riley went to the specialist, who performed scans and, thankfully, found that the cancer hadn't spread but needed to be immediately removed.

On Wednesday, 11/27, Riley underwent emergency surgery to remove the tumors and address her tooth. During the procedure, the surgeons discovered a total of six mast tumors and determined that they would need to remove five of her teeth.

It will be a long and challenging recovery for our sweet Riley, and the surgeon believes that chemotherapy may be necessary in the future to make sure all the cancer is done and can’t come back. Yet, we know she's a strong girl and will get through this.

This has been an emotionally and financially draining time for Riley’s parents, but their love and support for her remain unwavering. Riley’s resilience and strength, combined with the care and dedication of her parents, give us all hope for a brighter, healthier future for her.
