My name is Rose, and I’m reaching out during one of the scariest moments of my life. Just recently, me and my baby Riley—my beloved miniature schnauzer—were viciously attacked by an unleashed pit bull while simply trying to enjoy a peaceful day outside.

It was traumatic and terrifying. The pit bull came out of nowhere—completely off-leash and unrestrained. I tried everything I could to protect Riley, but in the chaos, we were both hurt. Riley suffered a fractured rib and had to be rushed to the emergency animal hospital, where he’s currently being treated with around-the-clock care. I also sustained injuries, and while I’m still physically recovering, my heart is most broken over what my sweet boy went through.

Riley is more than a pet—he’s my emotional support, my best friend, and a part of my family. Seeing him in pain and scared has completely shattered me. The medical expenses are quickly adding up—between the emergency vet care, X-rays, pain meds, and his ongoing recovery, the costs are overwhelming. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t do this alone.

I’m humbly asking for any support—whether it’s $5, $10, or just sharing this link. Every little bit will go directly to Riley’s medical bills and recovery care. I just want to get him back home, safe, healed, and surrounded by love.
