Help Riley get through her clinical trials.

Riley has a medical condition called NF1. This condition affects many things including the muscle and bones. One of the most dangerous parts of nf is that is causes tumors to grow on nerve tissue. Riley got her first brain tumor shortly before she turned 8, complications from this let to hydrocephalus and numerous shunt surgeries. Over the next two years tumors started to grow on both sides of her neck , and shortly after a second brain tumor. At age 11 Riley started her first oral chemo, a targeted theropy. After two and a half years on this years her tumors continued to grow, the growth rate slowed down but the tumors were not shrinking.

Then in 2020 a new chemo got fda approval and she started new treatment. Thankfully we saw shrinkage in her brain tumor but the other tumors continued to grow, including one on her shoulder on the bracial plex nerve.

At this point there is no treatment available... Riley and I went out to the NIH in Bethesda and after several tests scans and biopsies. We found many more tumors including some on her spine. The biopsy showed Rileys tumor is a atypical nurofibroma and has features of a MPNST. A mpnst is a aggressive sarcoma. So we are starting a clinical trial at the NIH. It will mean frequent flights to washington DC. And she will still be seeing her regular oncologist in Seattle, along with other specialists. Will also need weekly visits with pediatrician in Olympia.

Thankfully the study covers airfare. What we need help with is the extra expenses of gas and luggage fees and the 140 it cost to park at airport each time we go. And money to cover food and expenses while at hospital. I also have another daughter with medical issues. Any help you can give would be appreciated thank you.
