If you've spent any time at Surf Synergy, there's a good chance Riley was part of your experience. Riley is the one with the constant smile, encouragement, and overflowing optimism that makes everyone around him feel at ease. He has taught hundreds of Surf Synergy guests how to surf—often helping people catch their very first wave—and he does it with a simple, genuine joy that reflects his deep love for the ocean and for people.

Riley suffered a serious and painful rotator cuff tear and now needs surgery. This injury means time out of the water and away from the work he loves. The cost of the surgery, medications, and rehabilitation, plus covering his wages for a month, is estimated at $12,000, and we are coming together as a community to help him through this difficult moment.

To ensure transparency, the funds from this campaign will be received in the United States by Rich Naha, founder of Surf Synergy, into the business account. Rich will directly pay Riley's medical bills and related recovery expenses on Riley's behalf, as well as one month's wages. This ensures that every dollar donated goes toward Riley's care, recovery, and ongoing living expenses during his rehabilitation.
