Help Riley and Brody After Losing Their Father

I am a dear friend to the Shook/Feeney family.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brandon Shook, a long-time partner to Shannon Feeney, a father to Riley and Brody, brother, son, uncle, a beloved friend, and avid Phish fan. Brandon was known for his infectious smile, unwavering kindness, and his love for life.

Riley, just a week before his 11th birthday, has lost his father. Brody, 6 years old, can’t even comprehend the loss of him. Coming from someone who has also lost a parent, especially unexpectedly at a young age, my heart completely breaks for my dear friend and her two boys.

If you have known the Feeney and Shook family, you know that they had just suffered a loss with her brother Shawn’s passing in December of 2021. I’m not sure how one family can handle such loss. The boys have both lost two strong men that were such a part of their lives.

Rest easy, Brandon. May your soul continue to roam free, with Phish playing in the background and the world forever grateful for the love you shared.
