I'm Lilith, and this campaign is for my character artist and good friend Riley (Valence7) who has been laid off from their job on April 14th and needs funds to afford a vehicle a few more months of rent.
Just a week earlier they had been diagnosed with BPD and had been struggling with Autism and depression for many years. Due to their economic situation, they have not been able to go to therapy or get on medication for a long time. Riley was a rapidly growing artist, with over 1k followers on Bluesky. They've improved so much in the past few years, and I would hate to see that end so soon.
On April 15, late in the morning, Riley posted on their Instagram Stories how, in 3 weeks, they'd no longer be around. This was because they couldn't afford rent and would go homeless because of it. Fortunately, rent for May has been fully covered. However, getting a job in the first place proved to be a very difficult task due to the job market.
We're looking to raise $2000 for two things:
- Get Riley a moped, which is the cheapest kind of transport they can get. Owning a vehicle will help them tremendously with getting another job.
- Cover another month of rent and give Riley more time to get their life back on track.
My friends and I aren't giving up on Riley for anything. Please don't give up on Riley.
