Hi! Some of you may remember me as the disabled person whose friends crowdfunded her way out of an abusive marriage and a string of severely demanding jobs. Thanks to that I'm now in a safe and stable place with people who love me and even help take care of my increasingly many, many medical needs.

At this point in my life due to multiple chronic diseases including fibromyalgia, endometriosis, a form of arthritis, and ME/CFS, it has become apparent that I need a lightweight power chair I can ideally lift on my own to broaden my independence. I currently use a mobility scooter, but that requires help and sometimes I like to leave the house alone, while needing more than just my crutches or cane. More often lately when I go out on my own I find myself sick for days after from trying to walk. A powerchair would give me the gift of further independence, as well as being able to maneuver in smaller places and in my home when I can't walk from room to room. While I may eventually be able to get insurance to cover such a thing, I don't have the potential years that would take.

Unfortunately, the cheapest one out of pocket that meets all my needs is still $2000 usd. This GoFundMe will cover the chair plus a headrest for when I can't easily lift my head.

I have in the past many times relied and survived only on the kindness of friends and strangers. I am so grateful for the generosity and love I have received in my very chaotic life. Thank you all for following my story and making me safe.
