As Rik’s mentor, Lakita is proud to be raising support for Enricka “Rik” James, a friend who has poured years of hard work into Jacksonville’s fashion and culture scene. Many people already know Rik as the founder of Duval Ball and Duval Wears Prada, and as a Folio Weekly Best of Jax honoree. Now Rik is taking a major next step by opening Six in the City Vintage, a curated vintage boutique in Jacksonville. This storefront is not a dream that appeared overnight. Rik has spent years building experience, educating herself, creating a business plan, consigning, and working in other vintage stores throughout the area. She has truly done the work to prepare for this moment.

This fundraiser will help cover the essential startup costs needed for Six in the City Vintage to open on schedule and stay stable during its first six months.
