Rigsby Stewart is a 28 year old contracted videographer and friend of Seek One. He’s someone who brings laughter, light, and heart to every hunt he’s a part of.

While filming with Seek One, Rigsby fell approximately 25 feet while climbing down from a tree after lowering his camera gear. He was not connected to the tree with a tether or lineman’s belt when a limb gave way, resulting in a serious fall. He sustained three fractures in his right leg and four compound fractures in his left leg.

Immediate first aid was rendered by Drew Carroll, emergency services were called, and Rigsby was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery. He now faces weeks of limited mobility and months of rehabilitation.

Rigsby does not have health insurance due to brief lapse between the New Year and planned marriage on March 7th. A small window without insurance should not effect his financial well being for years to come. While the hospital is offering a cash pay discount, medical bills, rehab costs, living expenses, and lost wages are significant especially as Rigsby and his fiancée, Henslee, prepare for their wedding.

Through it all, Rigsby has remained unbelievably positive. In his words: “I’m excited to run the 40 yard dash again.” His motivation is simple heal up, hunt turkeys this spring, and dance with his wife on their wedding day.
