Rigo's family is experiencing an extreme hardship both mentally and financially.

On August 10th, Rigo went in for an out-patient hernia repair surgery. During the surgery, his lung collapsed. While they were able to complete the surgery, a series of unexpected complications continued. Two days after being intubated, he went into cardiac arrest. After working on him for 7 minutes, they were able to revive him. But he never fully recovered. Over the following weeks, his condition deteriorated. Rigo passed away August 31st.

He leaves behind his loving girlfriend, Dee, 6 children (aged 6 - 16) and 2 bonus children. His huge smile and contagious laugh are already incredibly missed. The many memories of fishing and hanging out with his family are forever cherished.

His family is now left to figure out how to deal with this unexpected loss. Never did they think that a simple out-patient procedure would lead to the unthinkable.
