Rigoberto Cardenas was only 17 years old.

He was a healthy, normal teen. Always happy and smiling. He was so excited about graduating high school.

On 10-08-24, he started his battle with an illness that came out of nowhere, leaving him bedridden, unconscious, and requiring multiple brain surgeries. He fought with all his might until

10-15-24, when he sadly lost his life to complications of cerebral edema.

His family is left completely and utterly in shock.

He was a strong, healthy young man who had so much life left to live.
