Help Right On Band Recover Stolen Gear
Donation protected
My heart broke when I heard their trailer full of gear for both bands had been stolen.
On Monday March 24th, someone vandalized their van in Miami and stole their trailer. They had to come up with more than $30,000 just rent/purchase gear to play their next few shows. They lost their lights, in-ear monitors, wireless mics, mixing board, and more! All gone in an instant.
Growing up in Virginia Beach, I remember seeing The Right On Band everywhere. They were synonymous with a fantastic show, and I would hear stories of epic concerts at Presidential inaugurations or in exotic places like Italy, The Bahamas, and South Africa. They’ve performed for over a million people and raised money for countless charities over the last 28 years.
I later discovered that they had a sister project: EVIL WOMAN – The American ELO. As a friend of several members, I know firsthand how dedicated they are to putting on a flawless show.
They’ve borrowed money to get through, but they’ve had to rent vehicles, and they’ll have to pay back family and friends who have helped them get by.
That’s where we can help!
These musicians are stand-up human beings who put in the work out of love and dedication to their craft and to the mission of delivering the best possible experience for their audiences.
Let’s give back to those who have given so much joy to us and communities across the globe. Let’s help them get through this storm and come out the other side ready to rock harder than ever before!
Please donate what you can.
Thank you.
