Hello! I’m Talia and am writing on the behalf of myself and my parents, Doug and Kristianne, and one of our dogs, Riggs. Riggs was seen by the vet for a lump on his hind leg, and it was found that this lump was a mast cell tumor. We were heartbroken, but this kind of tumor is treatable! We aren’t able to cover the cost of the surgery completely on our own, so we are hoping if anyone is able to help us, even slightly, we can afford Rigg’s surgery.
More about Riggs:
We rescued Riggs from Boot n Kit Rescue when he was a puppy. He was a cute little guy who helped our other dog, Maggie, recover from losing our first dog, Remy, to cancer. He later became big brother to our youngest dog, Ozzy. The two of them definitely fight like siblings, but they can always be caught secretly cuddling with each other when they think no one is watching.

Doug, my step father, is especially attached to Riggs. Riggs is Doug’s little buddy, and they love to go for drives together to Lowe’s and on walks. Doug’s hope one day is to get a sidecar for his motorcycle so Riggs can come along on those rides as well.

We all really appreciate any form of support people can provide at this time, be it emotional or financial. We will be using any funds raised to pay for Riggs’ cancer treatments only.
Thank you and be well,
The Locke Family
