Help Rigby Fight Pneumonia
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Karla and I am fundraising for my sweet boy Rigsby (Rigs). He suddenly came down with some sort of severe
pneumonia infection and is not improving in the ICU. He may have to be moved to Internal Medicine and I would like to be able to do that for him. Rigby deserves the best chance I can give him. He lived the first part of his life on a chain in Texas where he was neglected and rarely given adequate food and water. He was advocated for by a caring neighbor and was eventually rescued this summer. I decided to adopt him and he came to Colorado on transport in October. He is only starting to get an idea of what the good life is and I have to do everything I can to save him so he gets to live the life he deserves. The first part of his bill is $4,000. However, if he is moved to Internal Medicine that will increase considerably.
16 Jan - Rigs had a setback this evening because he is having a hard time tolerating the nasal prongs. He continues to require high flow oxygen but the goal right now is to get him off of it. As soon as that happens he is being transferred to Internal Medicine. They think they can give him better care and get a better idea of what is going on. He has received a new bill for an additional 60 hours of care. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts.
