Rigby is my boy kitten, and he’s always been full of energy—jumping, playing, and bringing so much joy to my life. One day, I left for work and came home to find him in a lot of pain, especially in his back. I took him to the vet to get him examined, and they told me it was a spinal injury. The vet suspects it could be disc disease or possibly a fracture, but without an MRI or x-ray, we can’t know for sure.

Right now, I’m only able to afford his medication, which helps a little but isn’t enough. I am in a bad financial position and can barely cover his basic care. Rigby can’t do the things he loves anymore—he can’t jump or play like he used to, and it breaks my heart to see him in pain. The next step for him is getting an MRI or x-ray, which the vet says is necessary before any surgery can be considered. After that, he may need surgery and ongoing medication to help him recover.
