Hi, my name is Nik. This is my dog Rigatoni. He is not feeling well at all, and is in need of some expensive veterinary care. I am praying that with your help we can get him feeling better as soon as possible.

He cracked a tooth on a bone, and it needs to be extracted. I saw the Vet about this, I was told it does not need to be pulled right away and that I have some time to raise funds for surgery. I was also told to try to put weight on him to make him a better candidate for surgery. I was quoted around $1200, plus vet visits and aftercare costs. I figure at least $1500 to have the tooth taken out.

He had Lyme disease in the past and received the antibiotics and got better. It seems that now he is having a Lyme disease flare up triggered by extreme allergies, or a reinfection of Lyme disease. I saw a Vet a few days ago but it was unclear what was going on at the time, and appeared to be an allergic reaction on top of the allergies. He has developed more tell tale Lyme symptoms in the past few days and I have another appointment coming up. I am really hoping to raise enough funds for a couple more vet visits, a long course of antibiotics, probiotics, and anything else he will need to feel better. I figure $1000 or so for this. He is not eating well and not putting weight on for the tooth surgery. This problem needs to be addressed right away.

We were homeless on foot in Salem Massachusetts for almost a year living in the small tent city by the river until with the help of this amazing online community we were able to buy a vehicle on Valentine's Day. We have been car camping and scraping by for the past few months. We are still homeless, and surviving is still a struggle but we are doing much better! I am able to do a little work on the side and we are slowly moving toward better things, but I just do not have money in the bank for this.
