14 ambitious Ridgeview students made history this year by qualifying for the Virtual Enterprise National Competition in New York, something that has never been done before at any high school in Bakersfield, California. While both Ridgeview teams consist of diverse minority students, they have been ridiculed and doubted upon as novices in this program; however, they have proved local teams wrong and have succeeded as the underdogs. 

With this being the first out-of-state trip for the majority of these students, we want to ensure that each well-deserving student is able to afford this 6-day trip after all of the hard work and dedication that have contributed to such a prestigious and competitive program. Their district is not covering additional expenses while staying in New York therefore, they have organized this page in hopes to contribute to the funding of this once of a lifetime experience. Your donations to the VE Wolfpack, go towards helping a group of underrepresented students accomplish their goals as young entrepreneurs in their community.
