Help Rico Walk Again ❤️

On behalf of my sister, brother-in-law and their family, I’ve created this go fund me to assist with helping our sweet man Rico get on his back legs again!

Our sweet French Bulldog, Rico, is only 3 years old and has been the heart of our family of six since the day we brought him home, filling our days with endless love, cuddles, and laughter.

Just recently, our playful boy suddenly lost the use of his back legs. He was rushed to the vet, where we learned that Rico has IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), a spinal condition that affects mobility. The change was so sudden—it was heartbreaking to see him go from running around the house and playing with the kiddos and his best friend Pablo to not being able to walk at all.

The doctors explained that emergency surgery would give him the best chance to recover and hopefully walk again. Rico is now in surgery, but this is just the beginning of his journey. He will also need ongoing physical therapy and follow-up care to rebuild his strength and mobility.

The cost of surgery, therapy, and recovery care is overwhelming, and that’s why we are asking for help. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly to giving Rico the chance to get back on his paws and live the long, happy life he deserves.
