My name is Charity. This is my dog Ricochet, or Rico for short. Rico is a loving and active pup. She loves long walks and playdates with other dogs. She is 5 years old and has over half her life left to live.

Crucial Knee Surgery After Injury

Ricochet, a five-year-old Pitbull mix, has been my lifeline since we found each other in 2019. Abandoned on the side of the road with her littermates, Ricochet was rescued as a tiny puppy—right when I was coping with devastating personal loss. From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable.

But now Ricochet needs urgent help. She has a luxating patella that led to a torn ACL in her right leg, and she’s in pain. The injury began with a limp in April 2024 and quickly worsened. I am just getting back on my feet after a long stretch of hardship.
