Rico is my Bluenose Pitty—truly a lover and a fighter. To say that to know him is to love him feels like an understatement.

Rico has faced more than his fair share of health challenges. Yesterday, he was diagnosed with fluid in his lungs, which can mean heart disease or pneumonia. Either way, with 0% chance of surviving at home. Unfortunately, we had to hospitalize him and hope for the best.

Deciding to do a fundraiser was not anything we could’ve imagined, but the treatments and procedures we need to save his life have already exceeded what we can manage (so far $2k, $3.6k, $700 and counting + at-home post care). The funds raised here will go directly toward Rico’s hospital fees and medications.

It’s overwhelming, but we’re determined to do everything possible to give Rico the chance he deserves. We feel extremely thankful and blessed to receive any and all help. Thank you for considering supporting Rico’s journey to recovery.
