HELP RICO GET SURGERY FOR HIS BROKEN JAW
With a heavy heart I reach out to the community in hopes for kind & understanding people, I'm begging for your help & support to reach this goal.
Just to give a brief backstory, let me start off by saying, Rico was our first family dog. We bought him when he was a couple weeks old and just this past February he turned 10 years old! He is the smartest, wisest, most loving and loyal boy I could ever ask for. He is a gift.

- The picture above is when he was a baby around the time we first got him (10 years ago)
We're not ones to reach out and ask for help, especially in such a large amount but we are desperate, worried, and will do whatever it takes to get our baby back to perfect condition! He doesn't deserve any of the pain he is going through right now. It is very difficult for everyone in our family to see him living such a limited and restricted lifestyle.
Unfortunately, a few days ago he broke his mandible (Lower Jaw) on BOTH sides. During his physical exam he was in an excruciating amount of pain. In order to diagnose him, he required sedation and because of the amount of blood he loss during the trauma he has shown mild anemia. The veterinarians/surgeons concluded he will definitely need surgery ASAP!
I live on Oahu and was told there are only 2 veterinary surgeons on the island. In that case, the surgeons schedules are most definitely backed up a couple weeks and my poor Rico can NOT wait that long. In order to squeeze him in their schedule it will come at a higher price and/or an "emergency" price.
I am asking and praying for help during such hard times. We completely understand not everyone is able to donate but we would really appreciate something as small as sharing this page! Anything counts!
Whether it's a donation, a shared URL, a repost on social media, or just spreading the word, I want to thank each and everyone in advance who helps us get through these tough times.
We appreciate the help to get him back to his full range of motion, being able to run, play, and jump or simply just being able to do basic activities/tasks such as eating & drinking normally again.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
