Our daughter Carlie, her fiancé Rico, and their 4-month-old son shared a home with Rico’s beloved mother, Linda Diamandi. This week, Linda passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving the family heartbroken. Rico has lost his dear mother, and our grandson Antonio has lost his cherished grandma “LiLi.” She was a truly kind and loving woman who touched everyone around her, and she will be missed more than words can express.

Linda did not have burial insurance or a will in place, so Rico and Carlie are now facing the overwhelming task of navigating arrangements and expenses during an already incredibly painful time. As brand new parents, the added financial stress of final expenses is a heavy burden to bear. I am starting this GoFundMe to help ease some of that burden and to allow them the space to grieve and care for their young son without the weight of these unexpected costs.
