Ricky was adopted from Buffalo Underdog Rescue and has been a true love bug from the start. His journey hasn’t been easy...I have no eyes—my new owner, recently lost his best friend,he made sure Stinkey had the best care possible having been blind and a severe diabetic. Now, Ricky is with us, and even though he has no eyes, He can feel the special care and attention he gets every day. I love my new home, my yard, my beds, and the constant affection. I am loved 24/7 My feet have been fixed, my dental work is done, and for a while, everything felt wonderful.
Recently, things took a turn when I caught a bug and had to go back to the vet. After a series of tests—bloodwork, x-rays, and a sonogram—the doctor found a lesion on my spleen. I had surgery to remove it and am recovering well, but now we’re waiting for the oncologist to call about my next steps and possible treatments. The uncertainty is tough, but my owner is doing everything possible to make sure I get the best care.
We’re reaching out for help to cover the costs of special food, nutritional supplements, and any treatments I might need as I recover and take the next steps in fighting cancer. We’re not asking for help with regular care—just the unexpected expenses that come with a diagnosis like this. If something happens to me and there are funds left over, my owner would love to pay it forward to other pets in need. Any support, big or small, would mean the world to us right now. Thank you for reading our story and for caring about Ricky.
AND A BIG THANK-YOU FROM ......RICKY !!!!!!
