Help Wounded Warrior Ricky Kepley Adopt Service Dog
Donation protected
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Ricky Kepley, and I am a U.S. Army veteran who served for 12 years, including deployments in Bosnia and combat operations in Iraq. In 2009, while serving in Mosul, I was critically injured by an IED explosion. The resulting Severe Traumatic Brain Injury led to my medical evacuation to a wounded warriors facility, where my journey to recovery began.
I am receiving currently receiving treatment at PTSD rehabilitaition facility in Bandera, TX. It is here that I have had the profound privilege of meeting Crouse, a service dog in training to assist me with supportive tasks associated with my daily needs. From the moment I met her, Crouse and I formed a deep bond, and she has become an indispensable part of my life.
Crouse will play a crucial role in managing my PTSD symptoms, helping me navigate the daily challenges that come with my injury. Her presence has already made a significant difference in my well-being, offering comfort and stability during difficult times.
However, to fully integrate Crouse into my life as a service dog, I need to raise funds to cover her training and care costs. I am reaching out to you for assistance in this endeavor. Your support would greatly enhance my quality of life and ensure that Crouse can continue her vital role in my recovery.
If you are able to contribute or know of anyone who might be interested in supporting this cause, please feel free to contact me directly at [your phone number] or [your email address]. Additionally, any advice or connections to organizations that could assist with fundraising would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for considering my request. Your support would not only aid in my personal journey but also honor the sacrifices made by veterans like myself.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Ricky Kepley
