Hello, my name is Ricky Thomas. As many of you may know, I am epileptic. This year in April, I became extremely ill. I was rushed to the ER in May and was admitted due to fluid on my brain. I became unresponsive and I was placed in ICU. During my time in ICU, it was explained to my siblings that in order for me to survive, I had to be placed on a ventilator. This has been an extremely difficult time for my siblings and for me. I was unconscious for a month and a half on a ventilator. During that time, decisions had to be made, and that was brain surgery. My stay in the hospital was over a month and a half, including ICU and rehabilitation. I have been out of work from May until this current date. I am still in a transition of recovery each day. My body is still mending itself and catching up to my brain. My eyesight has been the most challenging thing to endure. I am asking for HELP! I am grateful for any and all donations from all of you. I have bills that have been continuing to come in and need to be paid, including rent, utilities, medical expenses, food, etc. I understand that a lot of us are having difficult times, and I would be grateful if you can donate a dollar.
