Help Ricky Fight Pancreatic Cancer and Support His Family
In January, our world flipped upside down.
Ricky Karlecke is a father, a husband, a brother, and a hardworking provider for his family. He and his wife Rachel are raising their 4-year-old son, Dexter. Ricky is also the father of a 12-year-old daughter, Novii.
Until recently, Ricky was working, providing, and living a normal life. Then, almost overnight, everything changed.
Ricky began experiencing severe abdominal pain that quickly escalated into emergency hospital visits, extensive testing, and procedures. Within days, he received the devastating diagnosis: pancreatic cancer, with evidence that it has already spread. Since then, he has endured hospital admissions, biopsies, imaging scans, blood clots in his lungs, and intense, ongoing pain — all while trying to process what this means for his future and his family.
Because of his condition and the severity of his symptoms, Ricky has been unable to work since the beginning of January. His focus now is on medical care, treatment planning, and simply getting through each day — not on earning an income.
The reality is harsh. Pancreatic cancer is aggressive, and the road ahead involves specialized oncology care, frequent appointments, treatments, medications, and a significant physical and emotional toll. The financial burden is already mounting: medical bills, prescriptions, travel to appointments, basic household expenses, and supporting his children during a time when stability matters more than ever.
This GoFundMe is to help relieve some of that pressure — so Ricky and Rachel can focus on what truly matters right now: time, care, and being present for their family.
Every donation, share, and message of support makes a difference. Whether it helps cover a bill, keep food on the table, or simply gives them breathing room during the hardest season of their lives, it matters more than we can say.
Thank you for standing with Ricky and his family. Your support means everything.
