Hi, my name is Jaden, and I’ve started this GoFundMe to support my best friend Alejandra and her husband Ricky as they face one of the most difficult battles of their lives.

Recently, Ricky was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia — just years after bravely overcoming leukemia once before. After his initial recovery, Ricky and Alejandra built a beautiful life together. They got married and welcomed two incredible sons into the world: Esteban (4) and Santiago (almost 1).

Ricky is not only a devoted husband and father — he’s also been the primary provider for his family, allowing Alejandra to stay home and care for their boys. But now, with this devastating diagnosis, Ricky is unable to work as he begins chemotherapy and intensive treatment. It’s unclear when or if he’ll be able to return to work.

This family should be focused on healing and staying strong together — not worrying about how to pay for medical bills, daily expenses, or care for their children. That’s why we are raising $20,000 to help cover medical costs, household needs, and childcare as Ricky begins this second fight for his life.

Ricky is a kind, hardworking man who loves his family deeply. He’s already shown the strength to beat leukemia once — and we believe with the support and love of his community, he can do it again.
