PLEASE help Ricky dance again!
(Necrotising Fasciitis-Flesh Eating Bacteria)
The week before he took a turn for the worst,
Ricky Casstevens had just met the girl of his dreams!! They danced into the night, talked about the future, laughed at each other's jokes and made plans for another date! On Monday Ricky wasn't feeling well, on Tuesday Ricky was at Urgent Care, and Tuesday night he was having emergency surgery at Forsyth Hospital in Winston. Being an extreme diabetic, Ricky's life was changed in a flash!! The doctors told him that if he had waited one more day to come in, there would have been nothing they could do for him. Since November 10th he has had 8 debridement surgeries for Necrotising Fasciitis, a flesh eating bacteria, to which diabetes is the second leading cause. As I type this, he is actually having his 9th surgery. They have stated that Ricky's life will never be the same. There are a lot of details we could share, but right now as the doctors are fighting for his life we, his family, are fighting to keep his home! What we need more than anything is your prayers for healing! And with your generosity and support we hope to keep his home!!
We All want to see Ricky dance again!!
Thank you and may God Bless each of you!!
PS:
She has been by his side every step of the way!
Our goal is $25,000. We are prayerful that after a couple more months in the hospital and a few months of therapy, Ricky will find a new job that he can perform and take back his life! Until that time we are humbly asking for help in keeping him afloat so that he has a home to come back to.
