Help Richard Counts and Family During His Cancer Battle

Our family recently received devastating news that my son-in-law, Ricky Counts, has been diagnosed with Stage IV Small Cell Lung Cancer, that has metastasized through out his body. This diagnosis has turned their world upside down, and they are now facing a long road of doctor visits, treatments, and uncertainty.

Ricky is a loving husband and a wonderful father of 5 children and anyone who knows him knows how kind and hardworking he is. Because of his illness, he is no longer aloud or able to work. His wife, Samantha Counts, owns a small business called Sam’s Sweet Deals, which is currently the only source of income for their household. However, with Samantha taking care of Richard and driving him to doctor appointments, tests, and treatments, it is starting to become very difficult for her to work enough to cover their normal bills, let alone the medical expenses that will start to pile up. He has just started Chemotherapy and will be starting radiation treatment as well.

We are asking for help to ease the financial burden on Ricky and Samantha during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go toward household bills, travel to medical appointments, treatments, medications, and other medical expenses that insurance may not cover.
