We received the call this morning that no parents ever want to get: our son Ricky Apodaca and fiancé Emily Salas were t-boned by a drunk driver. Emily is currently 21 weeks pregnant. Thank God she and my unborn grandson are well and have been discharged. Ricky was not so lucky; he has 3 fractured ribs, a bulging disk, and a punctured spleen. The car his grandmother left him when she passed was totaled.

They are going to need all the help they can get, especially with their baby boy due in September. I'm reaching out, on their behalf, for donations to help and hopefully to raise enough money for a car or some type of transportation for Emily's OB appointments.
