Hi, my name is Ricki. I’m asking for help to support my mom, who has been mine, and my 4 siblings, only provider since my step-dad passed away during my sophomore year of high school. My youngest brother even dropped out of school so my mom could pay my tuition and make sure I graduate. But now, because we’re behind on tuition payments, I’m being told I might not be able to get my diploma until my tuition is paid off.

My mom is struggling to cover the remaining tuition and the extra graduation fees. I’ve applied to many jobs and have been doing small tutoring gigs, but it’s just not enough. I have a full ride at University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne waiting for me and I’m hoping to make it there and further my education. I’m asking for any help you can give to ease this burden on my mom who always kills herself to provide for me and my siblings and allow me to walk across the stage.
