As we all know cancer is a horrible disease.
Due to this diagnosis, Rick, unfortunately, will no longer be able to work. We all know how tough it can be when an unexpected illness comes about, especially in these hard times. All donations will be helping Rick through this devastating time in his life.
Below is a letter written by Rick's long-time best friend, Lisa.
Life
An unplanned journey!
Memories~Footsteps
Keeping the faith~Always believing
Then it happens...Life
The reality~
One day you’re in high school driving your white mustang~to hitting
the waves in Hawaii~a move to Florida to earning nicknames~being
mall rats.
Then to a doctor's visit that sends you to the ER and finding out you
have stage 4 cancer.
The kindness that reaches out~
The uncertainties of the life you no longer own.
Putting your life in the hands of doctors, professionals and most
importantly...God.
Country(Rick) as I called him from a time we worked together. I would
play country music, he hated it. Lol. Country(Rick)and I have always
been there for each other. When we had arguments he would call and
apologize for both our halfs.
He became family immediately.
Taking this journey with you
