My brother-in-law Rick Dalbec  landed sick and near death this past September 2020.  It was not from COVID-019 despite the similarities.  His lungs were damaged from the illness.  He has blood clots in his lungs that doctors are trying to  clear with medication.  He was on a ventilator for a couple weeks and also suffered from a collapsed lung.  He is single and lives in his own apartment.  He had short term disability that helped carry him for awhile.  He was in the hospital for a total of 4 weeks and transition care for another 4 weeks.  He was finally able to go back to work part time at the beginning of January.   His short term only lasted 3 months.   Rent and utilities are overdue, medical bills have started rolling in.  We are hoping to raise enough funds to get Rick back on his feet.  Get the rent caught up and bills paid up.   Hoping to help cover a good chunk of the medical bills from his stay in the hospital.
