Help Rick fund his cancer treatment

Hi everyone I am Susan Boros. I am raising money for my brother, Rick Fischer.
He started having some problems with his lungs. He had a Bronchoscopy done and they found Adenocarcinoma or lung cancer. Then he had a PetScan done and then it was determined that the cancer has moved to other areas and is considered stage IV cancer.
Wednesday night he was brought to the ER in Litchfield due to a stroke that was caused by the thicker cancer cells. He has lost some feeling on one side of his body. The family is hoping this will improve as time goes on.
Tuesday, April 6th, of next week they will meet with an oncologist to discuss his treatment going forward.
We will update this site as we know more and also a caring bridge site will be set up as well.
This is going to be a fight and I’m hoping to raise money for treatment and living expenses for Rick and his family.
Rick is married to Jean and they have 2 girls, one is 17 year old and is in high school, the other is 19 and in her first year of college.
Rick has a big heart and loves to help out in the Litchfield theatre community and others with his wood working, he loves movies (and can quote more lines than anyone should remember), loves riding his Harley and spending time with family and his beloved dog, Raven.
