Help Rick Continue to Fight Cancer!

Hi, my name is Stacy, and I want to help Rick and Emily continue to fight Rick's cancer. As you may know, Rick has been living with cancer for a long time now, and it continues to affect him in so many ways. However, Rick has been able to LIVE with the cancer thanks to ongoing Chemo treatments battling it back. These treatments have been ongoing and often, and the cancer goes into remission for only short periods of time.

 

 

 

 

In the past, Rick was healthy enough to be able to work, but he has been on disability leave for the past year and there isn't a way for him to return to work so he will lose his insurance soon. For the rest of this year, he will be able to keep his insurance using COBRA for the tune of $700 a month, but he also has to come up with $7,300 for the out-of-pocket maximum he will reach in his first chemo treatment. Rick and Emily's savings will be drained by the cost of the COBRA alone and Rick might have to stop chemo due to the cost. For me and the other people who love Rick, that is a HARD NO.

 

 

 

If you don't know Rick, you should know that he is the most lovable sarcastic asshole I've ever had the pleasure to be friends with. Rick is loyal, he's caring, he's involved in the community, and he will drop everything to help out a person in need. I've been friends with Rick for about 25 years and my spouse has been friends with him since high school. Rick is a fighter and a friend. He loves punk music, his friends, his family, his wife, and his kitty cats. He's always up for a good joke and is there when you just need to vent. He never wants to burden people with his troubles, but he's at the point where he doesn't have a choice. Anyone who knows Rick loves him, and we want to give him the chance to keep on living with cancer until research gets to the point where he can beat it. Please help us help him.
