Hi, my name is Marni Mahoney. My brother is Rick Burton. If anyone knows my brother, then you know when "the going gets tough, the tough get going." My brother is tough! He has been through a lot and has always tried his best to get through. Well, now, he needs our help! He has a 11 cm aortic aneurysm that needs surgery. Right now, he is on short-term disability because he cannot work due to a 20 lb weight restriction. He is only receiving 60% of his wage. The surgery is scheduled for June 3rd, where a stent will hopefully be inserted. If the stent cannot be put in (due to the aneurysm being close to his kidneys), then he will need open surgery. Either way, he needs help to cover a portion of his rent. Please consider donating, so he can heal with less stress. I will update this page with the result of his surgery.
