Rick, my brother, was diagnosed with bladder cancer a little over a year ago. After Christmas 2025, he underwent his first surgical procedure and chemotherapy treatment. On Monday, April 20, he went in for his second chemotherapy treatment and was told he is now at stage 4 bladder cancer. This news has been devastating for our family, and Rick is facing an incredibly tough road ahead.

Rick has been out of work since Christmas. As an over-the-road truck driver, he has had no pay. He receives social security, but it does not cover his expenses, including medical bills, vehicle payment, truck license fees, personal insurance, and daily living costs. Rick is staying with me, his sister, while we care for our elderly parents, which helps all of us. The financial strain is overwhelming, and we are doing everything we can to support Rick during this difficult time.

Rick will be out of work for at least another six months. We are asking for help to keep him afloat, pay his medical bills, prevent him from losing his car, and give him peace of mind.
